Dr. Kavisha Patel has been providing dentistry services to Alberta Communities since 2020 and is excited to have returned to Edmonton. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and strives to provide comprehensive dental care to all patients in a safe and comfortable environment. Dr. Patel and her team work to create a warm and welcoming environment for all patients including anxious patients and children. She offers sedation options as needed.

Outside of the office Dr. Patel enjoys spending tie with her husband and son, trying new recipes and hiking. She enjoys visiting the mountains and lakes.

Dr. Amandeep Singh graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Alberta, and now co-owns the West Edmonton Dental Choice office and takes pride in his team and practice. Dr. Singh’s winning sense of humor will help to put you at ease, and in addition to his alignment to Our Core Values, will contribute to a positive experience for patients and staff alike. Dr. Singh performs general dentistry including restorations, dental surgery, prosthodontics (crown and bridge) and root canals. In addition to these services Dr. Singh is able to offer Invisalign® and Implant placement. Dr. Singh speaks English and Punjabi, and is accepting new patients to his practice.

Dr. Arjun Lotey was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where he attended MacEwan University for his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree majoring in Psychology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta. He can be described as friendly, personable, and very easy to get along with. Dr. Lotey’s goal is to provide excellent patient-centered care and to educate his patients on their oral health and treatment goals. His favourite part of dentistry is being able to serve the community he was born and raised in and establishing personal connections with his patients. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Lotey living his best life with his wife, Darine. He really enjoys golfing, playing hockey, experiencing the local food scene, playing board games, hanging out with friends and family, and cheering on the Edmonton Oilers.

Dr. Hanan Dehrab completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Dalhousie University. She has a special interest in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and is able to provide relaxation techniques for her more anxious patients. It is her goal to have all patients leave with a smile, eager to come back for any required follow-ups. Dr. Hanan Dehrab is fluent in both English and Arabic and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Shayan Hamzehi has completed his degree in dentistry with distinction from Griffith University in Australia after completing his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors from Ryerson University in Toronto. He continues to further his knowledge and skills through study and training. Dr. Hamzehi has interest in all areas of dentistry with special interest in crown and bridge, cosmetic dentistry and root canal therapy. He has a friendly and calm chair side manner and is great with patients who are anxious about oral care or treatment.

Dr. Mollania received her Dental Medicine Doctorate (DMD) at UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry. She provides all general dentistry services including implants and sedation options. It is important to Dr. Mollania to provide her patients with all treatment options and information to allow them to make informed decisions regarding their dental care. In her free time, Dr. Mollania enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys dancing. She speaks English, French, Farsi and rudimentary Arabic and is accepting new patients at Rabbit Hill Dental Choice.

Dr. John Hart is committed to quality patient care and working with you to address your concerns. He provides all general dentistry services as well as, sedation options including IV sedation, difficult extractions including wisdom teeth, and implant placement. Dr. Hart also provides services to patients at local hospitals and places great importance in providing friendly and compassionate care in a comforting environment.

When not in the office he enjoys finding time to be outdoors golfing, hiking, biking and snowboarding.

Dr. Ravin Bhavsar graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with distinction from the University of Western Ontario. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry including crown and bridge, extractions, and root canal treatment.

Dr. Ravin takes time to listen to patients’ concerns and explain the treatment options. He also offers nitrous oxide sedation to patients who need it. He enjoys seeing people of all ages and loves to meet new people every day. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati and will be happy to discuss your concern during your dental visit.

Dr. Carolyn Baergen graduated from the University of Alberta in 1995 and has practiced dentistry on Whyte Avenue, in Millwoods, and in Sherwood Park over the past 22 years. She can be described as friendly, personable, and a bit of a humming bird as she loves to hum a tune or two at work. She focuses on developing treatment plans that are tailored to individual needs and makes sure you are feeling confident about your care.

After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary, Dr. Sabreena Bhaidani travelled to Australia to complete the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Melbourne. After practicing in Calgary for a few years she has made the move to Edmonton and we are excited to welcome her to our South Edmonton Common team.

Dr. Bhaidani is detail-oriented and committed to providing high quality patient care. She enjoys listening to patients to understand their needs and strives to help them feel comfortable in the dental office. Dr. Bhaidani is trained in all areas of restorative dentistry and provides sedation options including nitrous, oral sedation and Botox services.

Dr. Daniel Bargrizan graduated from Griffith University in Australia after completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Dalhousie University. Dr. Bargrizan has quickly become a patient favorite since joining us in May 2019, with his passion for dentistry combined with outstanding chair side manner. He is also fluent in Persian. Dr. Bargrizan proudly offers all general dentistry services as well as implants and Invisalign. He also offers sedation options including oral and nitrous sedation to make make dental visits more comfortable.

When not in the office, Dr Bargrizan loves keeping busy with outdoor activities like skiing, tennis, golf and kayaking. He also loves traveling, and that is how he picked up scuba diving and has since become a PADI divemaster.

Dr. Aaron Law graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He has been practicing since then in both private practice and at the Canadian Forces Base in Edmonton. Dr. Law provides all general dentistry services as well as Invisalign and sedation options. He is passionate about keeping up to date on the latest advances in the dental industry and looks forward to welcoming patients to an office where their care is his number one priority. In his spare time Dr. Law enjoys playing soccer, skiing and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Shivani Verma received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University and chose to return to Edmonton to practice dentistry. She is described as friendly, caring and confident and interested in getting to know her patients. Dr. Verma and her skilled team focus on creating an atmosphere where patients won’t be in a hurry to leave, our goal is for all appointments to be on time. She practices general dentistry and offers sedation dentistry as well. We are confident that her compassionate manner and well trained team will create a dental experience you will want to return to. Dr. Verma speaks English, Punjabi, and Hindi is accepting new patients.

Dr. Jason James enjoys to spend time listening and getting to know his patients. Doing a comprehensive exam and really getting to understand his patient is something that feels rewarding for him. Dr. James received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington, DC. Before traveling to the U.S. to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery; Dr. James attended the University of Alberta, completing both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health, Health Policy and Management. During this time he was also a starting corner-back for the Golden Bears Football team.

Dr. Laura Sliwkanich was born and raised in Edmonton, first receiving a Bachelor of Science from MacEwan University, then a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. Happy to be back in her hometown, Dr. Sliwkanich completed a one-year General Practice Residency with the University of Alberta to provide care for medically compromised patients and to learn about advanced practices in dentistry, including IV sedation and wisdom tooth extractions.
Dr. Sliwkanich strives to provide comprehensive care and comfort to her patients achieving their treatment goals. She also takes pride in teaching dental students at the University of Alberta and Glenrose hospital. In her spare time, Dr. Sliwkanich enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Jona Szakacs was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta.  He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery in London, Ontario at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University.  After graduation from dental school, he completed a one-year, postgraduate general practice residency program at the University of Alberta and has enjoyed living and working in the city of Edmonton ever since.

Dr. Szakacs provides a broad scope of services including Invisalign, select dental implant placement, wisdom tooth removal, molar endodontics and is certified in providing multiple methods of sedation including intravenous conscious sedation.  He understands that visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience and prides himself in providing excellent clinical care with a gentle touch.

As a former wildland firefighter, Dr. Szakacs will tell you that there is no such thing as too much fresh air. When he is not at work you can find him playing tennis in Kinsmen Park, mountain biking in the river valley, or snowboarding and splitboarding in the mountains.  He looks forward to meeting you and hopes to see you soon.

Dr. Adrian Hofmann graduated from University College Cork Faculty of Dentistry. Prior he completed a Master of Science in Cell and Systems Biology and a double major in biochemistry and human biology graduating magna cum laude, at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Hofmann is committed to continual education and lifelong learning in order to provide the best care possible to his patients. He believes patient interaction is the most enjoyable part of dentistry and provides a relaxing environment for his patients ensuring that they have a safe, successful, and enjoyable visit.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hofmann started dental health outreach programs in Ireland, reaching out to low income communities to provide oral health care. He enjoys spending time outside, gardening, hiking, camping and playing soccer.

Dr. Mo Omar is an across-world traveler, as he had to travel for 10,111 km from Cairo to Edmonton, where he specialized in the art of maintaining teeth and preserving gum health and aesthetics, AKA Periodontics. In addition to the three years of clinical training, he invested three more years investigating the potential role of genetics in the association between gum disease and heart disease, a project that made him the first PhD in Periodontology at the University of Alberta.

On his way from Cairo, Dr. Omar made a brief stop in Scotland, where in addition to experiencing the bagpipes and kilts, he attended a post-graduate program in Oral cancer at the University of Dundee.

In the dental chair, utilizing his surgical and non-surgical skills, Dr. Omar strives to maintain his patients’ teeth for as long as possible, and if need be, replace them with implants. He as well would help his patients achieve healthy and aesthetic gums through soft tissue grafts. Dr. Omar has a passion in teaching, so as his patient you can always expect a little bit of education.

Outside of the office, Dr. Omar can be found working out in the gym or meditating in a yoga studio, or possibly in the dog park, but most likely, along with his wife, Sara, they will be cheering on their little gymnast, Laila, at one of her competitions.
